Mark Spivey from Maritim Hotels will then reveal the hotel group’s comprehensive sustainability initiatives which include a dedicated consultant at each hotel, solar panels on roofs and efficient use of water before several HBAA venue members showcase their sustainability innovations and share their best practice.
Providing the buyer perspective, corporate and agency panellists will share their thoughts on what sustainability means to them and their organisation before keynote speaker Laura Try explains how sustainability has impacted and influenced her life choices, changing from shopaholic beauty shop owner to minimalist long distance rower, creating an inspiring conclusion to the day.
